PageTable pages are necessary to implement the paging system.
Mapped pages are used for running programs and storing data.
Buffer pages are used to buffer I/O from devices in FIFO format.
Cached pages are copies of I/O blocks used by the kernel as cache.
Dirty pages are mapped pages which were modified since they were loaded.
