gizmo :: memory usage
The following information is provided by recording data from the /proc/meminfo virtual file. The system has 512 MB of RAM. PageTable pages are necessary to implement the paging system. Mapped pages are used for running programs and storing data. Buffer pages are used to buffer I/O from devices in FIFO format. Cached pages are copies of I/O blocks used by the kernel as cache. Dirty pages are mapped pages which were modified since they were loaded. Back to Welcome Page
